Norgespris – Information in English

What is Norgespris?

Norgespris is not a new electricity agreement, but an optional fixed price arrangement that binds the electricity price to 0,50 NOK per kWh. You still need an electricity agreement, and it’s perfectly fine to have Fjordkraft and Norgespris at the same time.

Nice to know about Norgespris

  • Valid through 2026

    Once you have chosen Norgespris, you are bound to it for the rest of 2026. You need an eletricity agreement in addition to Norgespris.

  • Optional

    Norgespris is completely optional. If you want to continue the way things are, you don't need to do anything.

  • One invoice

    If you are a customer of Fjordkraft, your electricity, power grid expenses and Norgespris are included in one invoice.

How to order Norgespris?

  2. Log in to "Min side"
  3. Order Norgespris

As soon as you place your order, Norgespris will be activated for your metering point straight away. Your original electricity agreement will not change.

Should I choose Norgespris?

The future forecasts for electricity prices change day by day, and this can affect whether it is wise to choose Norgespris. We keep an eye on the market and adjust our recommendations accordingly.

Eastern Norway (NO1) – Recommended
Our forecasts indicate that electricity prices will remain high this autumn and winter. This is due to historically low water reservoir levels and high price expectations in neighboring regions.

Southern Norway (NO2) – Recommended
Forecasts and market prices clearly indicate that electricity prices will be high this autumn and winter. This is due to historically low water reservoir levels in the southern part of the country, particularly in NO2.

Mid-Norway (NO3) – Recommended
In Mid-Norway, water reservoir levels are at historic lows heading into the autumn. Our forecasts indicate that electricity prices will remain high throughout the autumn and winter.

Northern Norway (NO4) – Not recommended
Forecasts indicate that the average price through October will be well below the price of Norgespris at 40 øre (excluding VAT). However, current market expectations point to somewhat higher prices for November and December. It is advisable to pay close attention as winter approaches.

Western Norway (NO5) – Recommended
As with the other price zones in the south of the country, our forecasts for NO5 indicate that electricity prices will remain high this autumn and winter.
